Refund Policy
Perth Bhangra Academy Refund Policy

At Perth Bhangra Academy, we aim to provide high-quality dance classes and events.
This Refund Policy explains your rights and our practices regarding refunds, credits, and cancellations.
1. General Refunds
• Fees paid for classes, term enrolments, workshops, or events are nonrefundable except as required under the Australian Consumer Law (e.g., in cases of a major fault with our service).
• Change of mind, personal schedule conflicts, or loss of interest do not qualify for a refund.
2. Missed Classes
• Missed classes due to illness, travel, or other personal reasons are not refundable.
• At our discretion, and depending on class availability, we may offer a make-up class if notified at least 24 hours in advance.
3. Class Cancellation by Perth Bhangra Academy
• If we cancel a class or event (e.g., due to instructor illness or venue issues), we will: Reschedule the class; or o Offer a credit towards future classes; or Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
4. Withdrawal Before Term Start
• If you withdraw at least 7 days before the start of a term or workshop, you may request a full credit to be used within 12 months.
• Requests for refunds during this period will incur a $50 administration fee.
5. Withdrawal After Term Start
• Once a term or workshop has commenced, no refunds or credits will be issued for withdrawals.
6. Refunds for Merchandise
• Refunds or exchanges on merchandise are only offered if the item is faulty or significantly not as described, in line with Australian Consumer Law.
7. How to Request a Refund or Credit
• Requests must be made in writing by emailing perthbhangraacademy@gmail.com.
• Please include your name, student name, date of joining, location and reason for your request.
8. Refund Processing
• Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 14 business days.
• Any transaction or processing fees already incurred (e.g., credit card fees) are non-refundable.
9. Australian Consumer Law This Refund Policy does not exclude any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a refund or remedy if our services are not provided with due care and skill or fail to meet consumer guarantees.
