Perth Bhangra Academy - Data Usage & Media Consent Policy By entering Perth’s My Little Superstar Dance Competition, participants and their parents/legal guardians hereby agree to the following terms and conditions regarding data usage and media rights:
1. Collection and Use of Personal Information Participants are required to provide personal information including but not limited to: • Full Name • Date of Birth • Address • Email Address • Phone Number This information will be used strictly for the purpose of organizing and managing My Little Superstar Dance Competition, including communication, verification of eligibility (Age group-Year 4–10), and prize distribution. Perth Bhangra Academy reserves the right to use the provided information to contact participants, share competition updates, and publish results across all our platforms.

2. Video Submission & Media Usage Consent By submitting a Bhangra dance video to this competition: • You grant Perth Bhangra Academy full permission to publish, distribute, and share the submitted video content on our official Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok pages, and any other promotional channels we deem necessary. • You confirm that you own the rights to the content and that there is no infringement on any third-party rights. • You waive any claim to royalties or compensation for the use of your video for promotional or marketing purposes.
3. Social Media Engagement Clause Videos will be posted publicly and will compete based on the most likes and views across our social media platforms.
4. Prize Distribution Winners will receive prizes worth $200 each, which may be distributed in the form of: • Cash payments, or • Tangible prizes (e.g., gift cards, toys, merchandise, etc.) Perth Bhangra Academy reserves the right to determine the form and value of the prize at its sole discretion.
5. Agreement to Terms By submitting your entry, you acknowledge and agree to: • All terms and conditions stated above • Perth Bhangra Academy’s right to use your personal data and submitted media for competition and promotional purposes • Acceptance of final decisions made by the organizers regarding eligibility, content posting, and prize awarding
6. Parental/Guardian Consent Clause (If Minor is Participating) All participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter the competition. By submitting an entry, the parent/guardian confirms that: • They have read and agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. • They consent to the collection and use of the child’s personal information and submitted media. • They accept full responsibility for the child’s participation.
7. Indemnity and Limitation of Liability • Perth Bhangra Academy and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by participants during the course of this competition, including during video creation or submission. By participating, entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Perth Bhangra Academy, its directors, volunteers, and partners from any and all claims, demands, or liabilities arising from participation in the competition or use of submitted content.
8. Right to Modify or Cancel • Perth Bhangra Academy reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances. Any such decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
9. Disqualification Clause Perth Bhangra Academy reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be violating the rules, submitting inappropriate content, or engaging in fraudulent behavior (e.g., artificial inflation of likes/views). 10. Governing Law This policy and all terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Western Australia.
